Salvaje came to me freshly neutered. His aftercare was inadequate and his castration scar began to fester, he had to undergo two operations on a dangerous spermatic fistula. The 2nd operation was very risky and a very deep incision had to be made into the tissue.

Despite all the hopelessness, despite resistance to antibiotics and an endlessly festering surgical wound, I didn’t give up on him. After endless weeks in hospital, the situation and the festering wound didn’t get any better, I was advised to put him to sleep… I decided otherwise and took him home, again I was given 0% chance of success and was ridiculed.
With the help of a great veterinary practitioner, a long, almost year-long healing period began. Salvaje, who had already been written off by the vet, fought his way back to life – and today he is healthy.
But above all, he is one thing: a real joker. He literally talks to you, is always up for a joke and has nothing but nonsense on his mind. A friend for life who makes you laugh again.
